Time to "T" up the weekend of hockey, not only in Wilkie, but the Beaver Blues will be making a guest appearance as well.

Wilkie Bantam Outlaws (Hiway 14 League)

The Bantam's last game before the Christmas holidays come on Sunday afternoon. The Conquest/Dinsmore team roll into town for a 1pm start.

Wilkie Midget Outlaws (Hiway 14 League)

4-5 record (8pts), good for 5th out of 10.

Leading Scorer: Chris Pennell: 8G, 5A, 9GP (13pts)

The Midgets only game of the weekend comes in Eatonia against the Kerrobert Tigers on Friday night.

Wilkie Senior Outlaws (NSRHL)

4-2 record (8pts), good for 1st out of 8.

The Outlaws play host to the Maidstone Jets on Friday night (this game can be heard on CJNB with Dan O'Connor starting at 8:15 with the pre-game show and game at 8:30), followed by a Saturday night encounter with the Spiritwood Timberwolves, puck drop at 7:30pm. Following this game is the annual Outlaw Wing Night.

Battlefords Beaver Blues (SPHL)

I'm personally glad to see that hockey has not fully died on a grassroots level in Battleford. The newly formed SPHL has three other teams; Maymont Settlers, Radisson Wheat Kings, and Saulteax 3 Stars. Friday night, I'll be taking my music playing talents to South Bea.... er, i mean South Town (slang for Battleford), for the Blues game against the aforementioned Wheat Kings. Puck drops at 8pm at the Battleford Arena.
