Here is the minutes from the Sept 24 meeting held in Edam

Edam, Maidstone, Meadow Lake, Paradise Hill, St Walburg, Turtleford, Wilkie and Nolan Wirth all present at meeting

- Spiritwood has joined the SPHL leaving the NSRHL with 7 teams

- Maidstone made a motion for Doug Larre to be President of the league

    Meadow Lake seconded, 7-0 vote, carried.

- Maidstone made a motion for Nolan Wirth to be an adviser for suspensions

    Meadow Lake seconded, 7-0 vote, carried

- Nolan Wirth gave a referee reports

- Maidstone makes a motion that any team postponing a game within 10 hrs of game time (weather exempt) or forfeits a game outright that they pay $1500.  $1000 goes to the team they cancelled with and $500 goes to the league

     St Walburg seconded, 7-0 vote, carried

-Maidstone make a motion that we do not pass the new Hockey Canada optional league rules until SHA adopts the rules

     Wilkie seconded, 7-0 vote, carried

- Maidstone makes motion that playoffs be as follows: Round 1- Best of 3

                                                                                                   Round 2- Best of 5

                                                                                                   Round 3- Best of 7

     Turtleford seconded, 7-0 vote, carried

- Next meeting is Mon Nov 5 7:30 in Edam

Notes:

- Schedule is 18 games.  Each team plays 3 games vs every team in the league.  Each team will play 2 home and 1 away vs 3 teams this year and 1 home and 2 away vs the other 3 teams.  The schedule will be flipped next year so whoever goes to a team 2 times this year will only have to go to that team 1 time next year.

- Regular season ends Feb 2

- All teams will make the playoffs

-At the next meeting it will be decided how the playoffs will be (who gets a buy etc.)
